Language matters in the diagnoses, assessment and treatment of mental health disorders. And, NPO Phetolo Ya Bophelo, is looking to translate disorders into 6 languages including sign language. It’s holding the first inclusive education and mental healthcare symposium. To tell us more, we are joined by Kgomotso Seoketsa, Founder of Phetolo Ya Bophelo and Kgadi Thobejane, a Clinical Psychologist.

Kgomotso Seoketsa

I am responsible for managing the overall team, ensuring everyone's compliance with the organization's strategies and processes to reach the highest goals and objectives by monitoring the staff's performance, analyzing their performance and decisions, providing reports and updates during meetings, improving the current policies and procedures as necessary, and facilitating the organizations programs and special events.

CO FOUNDER AND TREASURER

Letlhogonolo matome uoane

I am responsible for financial management like arranging finance, investing finance, and risk management related to financial activities and also forecast the cash flow of the organization and I make necessary and sufficient arrangements to prevent financial crisis and ensuring that the organization runs smoothly.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jackson Itumeleng Tau

I am responsible for managing the financial operations of the organization, ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability. I oversee all financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance requirements.

Mental Wellness Psychologist

Dr. Kgadi Thobejane

I offer support, presence, understanding and psychoeducation to assist clients to gain insight into their challenges. I also explore together with my client's tools they require to navigate.
